Not a good night for the Indians. The Blue Devils played error-less baseball, got a good pitching performance from Terrence Harvey, and took advantage of Kelly miscues in a 4-run third inning.

Lack of hitting has been the concern as of late. The Tribe has gotta do better than that. We have too many guys in the lineup who can hit to be scoring 2 measly runs.

JJ Kelly is not that good, the rest of the LPD is just that bad. Just like the football teams around here lately.

The great thing about baseball is that slumps come and go. JJK could get hot as a $2 pistol,smoke the region and win state. Who knows?

They could, I wouldn't bet on it though. I'll take whoever wins Region B against the field in Radford next month.

I got a chance to catch the game tonight, I thought JJK was supposed to be good. They looked like a very average team who dominates a terrible district. Gate City is the 4th best team in the Clinch Mountain, and controlled the game. I look for the Clinch Mountain 1 and 2 to come out of Region D, and I'm with PVFAN, then bow out to a Region B team.
